What is Kundalini Yoga

Yoga means Union and is the union and balance of the body, mind and spirit.

Kundalini yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan (1969-2004), is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic yoga practice that includes Postures, Breath Work or Pranayam, Meditation and vocal resonance through Mantras. Kundalini yoga distinguishes itself by the practice of Kriyas (set of postures/breath/mantras). These Kriyas affect different body and mind systems: strengthening the nervous system and the immune system; improving blood circulation; facilitating digestion; improving disease resistance; gaining confidence and patience, etc.

What is Prenatal Yoga?

Prenatal Yoga is a yoga practice adjusted accordingly to the progression of the pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga is adapted to the mother’s state and her capacity. Practicing prenatal yoga helps improve flexibility; reinforces the perineum and the nervous systems; increases the lung capacity to breathe correctly; enhances relaxation; opens the pelvis.

Every class is composed of approximately 35-45 minutes of dynamic Kriya practice adapted to pregnancy, deep relaxation, a meditation and a time dedicated to sharing while sipping a cup of Yogi tea.
